The “First” Series

What was the very first CD you ever bought/received?

It was 1996, and my father took me to Virgin Mega Store where I bought No Doubt’s Tragic Kingdom and The Fugees’ The Score. While I was waiting in line, I saw a large display that held stacks of clear square cases.

Recordable CD’s!, the sign proclaimed, Only $10 each!
